What is a Pediatric Pulmonologist?
A Pediatric Pulmonologist is a physician that has completed special training in the care of children with respiratory problems. This training involves completion of medical school and a general pediatrics residency training in addition to specialized training in a three year Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship Program. All physicians at Austin Children’s Chest Associates are Board Certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology.
