Bennie McWilliams, MD
Board Certified Pediatric Pulmonologist
Dr. McWilliams is a native Texan. Dr. McWilliams has served as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and the Director of the Pediatric Pulmonary Division at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. His medical school training at University of Texas Medical Branch was followed by pediatric internship and residency as well as a pediatric pulmonary fellowship at University of New Mexico Hospital. His pediatric critical care fellowship was completed at George Washington University Medical Center and Children's Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He is board certified in pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology, and pediatric critical care. Dr. McWilliams is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Thoracic Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics, among others. He is married and has four children.
Jason Fullmer, MD
Board Certified Pediatric Pulmonologist
Dr. Fullmer completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and then a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology through Baylor College of Medicine at Texas Children's Hospital. During fellowship his research was supported by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the National Institute of Health. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Given his joint training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, Dr Fullmer has a special interest in taking care of both pediatric and adult Cystic Fibrosis patients. His other interests include difficult to control asthma and resident education. He is actively involved in resident education at Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas, affiliated with the University of Texas Medical Branch. He is married and has four children.
Jordan Scalo, MD
Board Certified Pediatric Pulmonologist
Dr. Scalo is a board certified pediatric pulmonologist and clinical assistant professor with the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Dr. Scalo came to Austin in 2002 after completing his pediatric pulmonary fellowship at the University of California San Francisco with research at the Cardiovascular Research Institute. Dr. Scalo graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City in 1996 and completed a pediatrics residency at Los Angeles County – University of Southern California in 1999. Dr. Scalo was elected a fellow in the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Sandi Anderson, RN
Clinical Manager and Synagis Clinical Coordinator
Sandi Anderson, RN received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University and received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing from Northern Virginia Community College. Her area of expertise and special interest is in pediatrics, family practice, immunizations, and phone triage. Sandi’s experience has included: Charge Nurse for Prince William County Virginia Public Health Department Immunization Clinic, Triage and Head Nurse of a pediatric practice in northern Virginia, and Nursing Supervisor for a family practice group in Saint Johns, Michigan. Sandi has been with Austin Children’s Chest Associates since the spring of 2007 and serves as the Clinical Manager and Synagis Clinical Coordinator. She is married with two children and one granddaughter.
